Terms for renting and using an inflatable attraction
General terms
- The attraction may only be used by children under the age of majority who meet the height, weight and headcount limits shown on the attraction's marking;
- The attractions are intended for outdoor use and/or suitable indoor spaces;
- Setting up and keeping the attraction inflated requires a power supply (standard 220-240 V) for the blower (1.8 kW - 2.8 kW);
- When placed indoors, the attraction must not block emergency exits;
- The attraction's entrance and exit must be kept clear of obstacles and obstructions;
- The site must be level and free of sharp or obstructing objects, so that children cannot be injured getting in or out;
- The attraction must be placed as far as possible from power lines and other hazards;
- A clear zone free of anything that could cause injury must be left around the attraction. The clear zone must surround the whole attraction — at least 2 m from a closed wall of the attraction, and 4 m from its open side. The exception is an attraction whose inflatable walls face directly onto a solid wall (a house wall, for instance); in that case the solid wall must be at least 2 m higher than the attraction's highest platform;
- The attraction must not be operated in adverse weather. Adverse weather means strong wind (from 9 m/s), thunderstorms, hail, snow and the like.
- The blower must be kept dry and must not stand in damp. If it starts to rain, it must be covered;
- Only a trained adult may switch the blower on and off;
- At public events, at least one supervisor must be present at each entrance the whole time the attraction is in use. We can provide staff. At family events the Hirer supervises the attraction and its users. Supervision must be continuous;
- If power is lost or interrupted, users must leave the attraction immediately. At public events, staff must be on hand to clear the attraction quickly but safely. At family events this is the Hirer's responsibility;
- In an emergency or accident the supervisor must react immediately, giving first aid if needed and contacting the relevant emergency services. At family events this is the Hirer's responsibility;
- The Hirer must warn the Lessor of any difficulties at the setup site when placing the order. The Lessor reserves the right not to set up the attraction if the site is particularly hard to reach, or if the customer gave no warning of such difficulties.
On the attraction the following is forbidden:
- wearing shoes;
- chewing gum, sweets, drinks and other food;
- carrying sharp objects (including necklaces and cords) that endanger children's safety and health;
- animals inside the attraction;
- climbing or sitting on the protective edges, leaning over them, jumping on others, pushing, hitting, kicking or otherwise harming other users;
- somersaults and tumbling;
- bouncing near the exit;
- grabbing, hanging on or tugging the safety nets;
- using or staying on the attraction while it is being inflated or deflated;
- jumping off the attraction — leave it by sitting down on the edge;
- children touching the blower;
- staying on the attraction in rain or wind (above 9 m/s);
- using the attraction when the attending staff have forbidden it;
- deliberately wetting it (hosing it down, bringing water onto it or using liquids).
How to use the slide
- Users must go down the slide sitting up and facing forwards;
- Sliding while standing, on your stomach or head first is forbidden, as is jumping on the slide or climbing up it;
- Before sliding, check that no one else is at the bottom of the slide.
By renting an attraction, the Hirer confirms that they have read and accept the rental and use terms set out above.
